Mary Mother of Captives Icon & Prayer Cards
The Mary Mother of Captives Icon is an original icon created for our ministry by Jack Pachuta. The icon shows Mary holding a pair of handcuffs in her hands over her heart. The concerned mother is troubled with all the ways by which our hearts are held captive- incarceration, addiction, or other ‘handcuffs’ that keep us from relationship with God. We pray together with Mary to be freed so that we can experience ourselves as the beloved of God.
These prayer cards are now available to those who would like to use them. Donations are accepted in exchange for the prayer cards and will be used to continue to support our ministries and to cover the cost of the cards.
