Grateful for our AVs

We had a lovely surprise visit from Katharine Winner, 2012-2013 Augustinian Volunteer today. She’s pictured below with our current AV, René. We’re so grateful for the amazing work and dedication of all the volunteers who have supported A.D.R.O.P. through the years.

Paul Morrissey, and René Schulze focus on the issue of mass incarceration with special interest on the “Drugs to Prison Pipeline.” The presentations are intended to excite students and push them to get more involved in their community and social change.

A.D.R.O.P. to attend Nuns on the Bus Town Hall for Justice

Event_Facebook Event PPA.png

NETWORK Lobby’s Nuns on the Bus is hitting the road -- for the first time in two years -- to hold elected officials accountable for their votes on the 2017 tax law and attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act. This time last year, Republicans in Congress were hard at work to enact a tax law that overwhelmingly benefits the wealthy over working people. This new law gives 83% of the benefits to the wealthiest 1% and threatens funding for Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

Join us in PHILADELPHIA at the next stop on the Nuns on the Bus tour—a month-long tour with rallies, lobbying visits, and town halls spanning from coast to coast. It will culminate in a Tax Justice Parade and Fiesta for the Common Good in Mar-a-Lago.
